Antique Flint Glass Decanter

This stunning decanter, with its specific type of precise paneled cutting around the neck and rim, is characteristic of high-quality EAPG (Early American Pattern Glass) or English lead crystal from the 1850s -1880s. The base features a beautifully hand-cut 20-point starburst pattern with a slightly recessed, ground, and polished center. The hand-etched "3" on the stopper and a matching "3" or "33" on the inner rim of the decanter confirm that it is an authentic, hand-crafted antique. In 19th-century glass houses, every decanter neck was ground by hand, making each opening unique.
