Pressed Glass Relish Bowl

This is a vintage clear pressed-glass four-footed oval relish bowl, featuring the classic "Daisy and Button" / Starburst pattern. The interior and outer walls feature large, brilliant multi-point starburst pinwheels along the sides and base, deeply framed by crisp diamond-point grids and geometric fan borders. It features a decorative, sharp sawtooth/scalloped rim. Four integrated, elegant scroll-toed (or snail-style) feet elevate the bowl and provide stable tabletop support. This heavy, thick glass piece beautifully mimics the high-brilliance look of antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) or cut crystal. While the pattern dates back to the late 1880s, dishes like this clear oval version were popular mid-century reproductions produced by companies like L.G. Wright and Fenton. This item dates to the mid-century vintage (circa 1950s–1970s).
