This stunning antique Victorian transferware pitcher was produced by Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co., a renowned manufacturer of high-grade earthenware and porcelain in Staffordshire, England. The pattern is the Althea pattern, an elegant Aesthetic Movement design displaying rich hibiscus-like floral motifs around the pitcher, on the handle and inside the lip. Beautiful embossing at top of handle. The coloration is a classic brown transferware variant. This piece is dated 1888 due to the registration on the bottom of the pitcher. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or staining.

- Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or staining. Three small spots inside bottom of pitcher.
